The Winchester dream team consists of Max Carter, Hunter Toberski, and Hayley Rodríguez. Max is a freshman Journalism student at Winchester Phillips. He’s a writer for The Winchester Journal, a history buff and imagines himself as the “future Card Bernstein.” Hunter is a Sports Management major and Max’s best friend. Hunter’s a track and field star and is known as the “ginger lover boy of the Tower.” Hayley is an Art & Design major and Max and Hunter’s best friend. Hayley is a talented artist and the “sharpest knife” in their drawer.

The executive board of The Omega Psi Beta Brotherhood includes Chad Rivers, Eric Lawson, and Connor Harris. Chad is the President of the brotherhood and a Political Science major at Winchester Phillips. He’s devilishly handsome and has all the wit of a lawyer, a trait passed down from his powerful father and bloodline. Eric is a Business Administration major and the fraternity’s Vice President. He and his brother Parker are continuing the legacy of Lawsons at Winchester. Connor is the brotherhood’s Secretary and a Criminology major. Connor is best known as having “ocean blue Sinatra eyes,” as his Omega brothers call them.

HAZE: BOOK ONE RESOURCES
Hazing is defined as the imposition of strenuous, often humiliating, tasks as part of a program of rigorous physical training and initiation. It’s not just happening on college campuses, it happens in the army, on sports teams, and in plenty other places. Hazing has cost the lives of so many young hopefuls and even though many schools outlaw the act, it still happens. The inspiration for this book was a news story that still haunts me till this day. A young college student lost his life at the hands of fraternity’s hazing ritual. This was something that happened at my college but like many schools, you couldn’t speak openly about it. We have to change the narrative and allow our peers to feel comfortable speaking out on this issue. Below are some resources to help engage your community whether it be on a college campus or an army base. Start the conversation and be a part of the change. The change starts with you making your voice heard, you could save a life.
